Ms. Tan Ai Nin graduated from Northumbria University in 2003. She was admitted to the Bar of England in 2004 as a Barrister-at-Law of Lincoln’s Inn. Ms. Tan joined Messrs Cheah Teh & Su as a pupil in chambers in October 2004. She was then admitted to the Malaysian Bar in July 2005. Her experience in corporate and conveyancing commenced with Messrs Teh & Lee since September 2005 and thereafter in Messrs Chooi & Co. Since March 2010, Ms. Tan practised in banking and conveyancing in Messrs Abraham Ooi & Partners.

Ms. Tan established her own practice Messrs Ai Nin Tan & Partners since February 2016. She has extensive experience sub-sale market sale and purchase transactions and bank loan documentations, especially corporate and commercial loans.
KHOR WEI JUN

Ms. Khor Wei Jun’s primary focus is on real estate practice, including drafting and preparing of Sale and Purchase Agreements relating to sale and purchase of residential and commercial property either sub-sale or direct sale from the Developer, as well as security documents.

Ms. Khor graduated from the University of London with second class upper honours in Bachelor of Laws and was awarded with multiple book prizes by the University of London. She obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice in 2019 and emerged as one of the top three achievers with a second class lower honours nationwide. She was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in January 2021.

She has gained considerable experience in corporate law due to her exposure throughout her pupillage in Messrs Shearn Delamore & Co. in 2020 in the corporate practice where she was involved in conducting due diligence in notable mergers and acquisitions, including a a ferry reacquisition business by a major port and logistics company, and the acquisition of several waste management companies by a leading utilities and infrastructure group. She has also assisted in providing legal advice to numerous companies and organisations, amongst others, a German multinational conglomerate company on directors’ breach of duty, and one of the world’s prime real asset investment managers on the licensing requirements pursuant to the Capital Markets and Services Act.

Ms. Khor joined Messrs Ai Nin Tan & Partners as a Partner in June 2021.
SOPHIA AMIERA BINTI MUHAMMAD HAFIZ ANTONIO

Ms. Sophia graduated with a LL.B (Hons) from University Utara Malaysia and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in July 2018. Completing her pupillage in Messrs. Zainul Rijal Talha & Amir, Johor Bahru, she was assigned to conduct mainly in Developer projects namely Nusajaya Heights Sdn. Bhd, Johor Land Bhd., Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia, I&P Group Sdn. Berhad, Sime Darby Property Berhad, Crescendo Corporation Bhd and Uda Holdings Bhd.

At the same time, she has been assigned to handle loan documentations from following banks such as Lembaga Pembiayaan Perumahan Sektor Awam, Maybank Islamic Berhad, Public Bank Berhad, Affin Bank Berhad, RHB Bank Berhad, Hong Leong Bank Berhad and Bank Simpanan Nasional Berhad as well as Discharge of Charge, Perfection of Transfer and Charge.

Ms. Sophia then continued her practice in Messrs Wendy & Partners before joining Messrs Ai Nin Tan & Partners in October 2019. Currently, Ms Sophia is a Partner of the firm undertaking conveyancing matters of the firm mainly involving sub-sale properties and bank loan documentations.
